Resourcing for the Future
There were 230 delegates at QREX's Conference, Resourcing for the Future, held at the Pilbeam Theatre, which analysed the future of the resources industry. Opened by the Honourable Ros Kelly, the conference included an A class list of speakers.
Queensland Resources Council, Rockhampton City Council, Central Queensland University and Rockhampton Tourist and Business Information joined together in 2007 to present Resourcing for the Future.
This one-day conference was an analysis and discussion of the resources sector's outlook and the implications for regional, state and national economies.
The conference included interactive panel sessions, and an ‘end of the day' summation by key speakers.
The conference was an opportunity to hear the views of leaders in the resources industry on challenges and opportunities ahead.
